The primary focus for the Staff Scientist will be the development, management and translation of unique and advantaged technical innovation for application in Feminine Care products. This position will assist the Manager in the development and implementation of unique and advantaged technologies to support the product roadmap.
Qualifications
A minimum of 8 - 10 years of experience in a related consumer goods category is preferred.
Demonstrated ability to lead technical innovation with a history of successes with respect to innovation and successful market introductions is mandatory.
Ability to effectively communicate with medical/technical professionals.
Hands-on product development experience relative to absorbent and / or substrate technologies is preferred.
A solid understanding of fiber chemistry, surface chemistry, nonwovens, adhesives and colloids is desirable.
Direct experience in Feminine Care consumer products (Pads, Liners & Tampons) is a significant advantage.
A strong understanding of consumer research and testing is very beneficial.
Education Degree in biomedical, mechanical or chemical engineering preferred.
