Job Description:
Experienced Applications Technician / Engineer is required having 3-5 years experience in programming, Setup, and operation of machine tools specifically Miyano (Citizen helpful) machines
Required Skills:
3-5 years experience in programming, Setup, and operation of machine tools specifically Miyano (Citizen helpful) machines
Knowledge and applications of machine tool products, options and functions
Mechanical and electrical experience preferred in CNC Machine Tools
Knowledge of Microsoft Office and Excel
Excellent communications skills
Ability to work independently
Autocad experience preferred
Responsibility:
provide customer support via phone on by traveling to customer sites
perform installation of machines at customer facilities
align and interface the bar feed unit
provide customer instruction on programming, setup and operation
perform first part run off; ensuring machine acceptance
perform machine programming per customer specifications
phone support for troubleshooting; daily and heavy at times
will be trained on applications tasks and responsibilities.
travel required; typically same day to assist customers. Occasionally overnight or
two day stays required
Estimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
