Job Description
We are seeking highly motivated Cellular Therapy Specialists who are interested in joining our fast-paced, dynamic environment.
These positions are responsible for performing all processing, testing, cellular manipulations, monitoring, maintenance, documentation, and overall behavior according to Standard Operating Procedures (SOP); and, in accordance to hospital and/or facility procedures at expected levels of competency at this level.
The candidate must have a collaborative and inquisitive nature, and must possess excellent organizational and verbal/written communication skills. These positions are based in Allendale, NJ.
Responsibilities:
The execution of processing and cellular manipulation which could include but is not limited to:
Aseptic techniques, cGMP, GLP
The purging, enrichment, and depletion of cell populations with the use of:
Cell selection, Density gradients and other commercial devices
The volume reduction of cellular products
The cryopreservation of cellular products
The thawing of cellular products
The exposure to and processing of a diverse variety of cellular blood
products, which may include but is not limited to: Bone marrow, Peripheral blood, Apheresis, Cord Blood
Perform expected work functions effectively within a Class 10,000 Clean Room Environment. Expectations include but are not limited to: Aseptic Gowning and Line Clearance Procedures
The execution of the testing of cellular products to ensure the Safety and/or Efficacy of different cell populations, may include but not limited to: Nucleated Cell counts, Viability, Sterility, Tissue Culture
Use, Maintenance, Quality Control Monitoring, and trouble shooting of pertinent equipment, which could be but not limited to: Ultra cold freezers, Control Rate Freezers, Liquid Nitrogen Freezers, Cell Washers, Incubators, Biological Safety Cabinets, Centrifuges and Microscopes
Produce Products and/or contribute to the research and development of products to be used in Clinical Trial settings
Perform and assist in the Training of other Cell Therapy Specialists
Perform and assist the supervisor in on-call projects
Ability to communicate effectively with other co-workers, departments, clinical staff, laboratory staff, physicians, researchers, nurses, and clients
May be exposed to infectious diseases transmittable through human blood, tissues, or bodily fluids and are expected to utilize
Education/
Experience:
Bachelor's degree in a biologics or related field preferred
A minimum of 2
years of applicable experience expected in a clinical laboratory, hematology, blood banking, immunology, or cGMP manufacturing
Current Medical Technologist license or equivalent is a plus
Demonstrates tact and courtesy in dealing with others
Strong work ethic, methodical approach to new challenges
GLP and GMP experience a plus
Must be able to work independently and with minimal supervision
Able to work in fast paced environment at times under pressure and with tight deadlines
Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
Good verbal and written communication skills
Strong team-oriented interpersonal skills are essentialEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.

The check will bounce and the victim is left responsible.
